The apartment house where F. SCOTT FITZGERALD
died in 1940.
at 1443 North Hayworth Ave., in Hollywood,
California.
(It was actually the apartment
of his companion, journalist Sheila Graham.
Fitzgerald was staying there because of a bad heart condition which
made it difficult for him to climb the stairs to his own second-floor
apartment nearby at 1403 North Laurel Avenue.)
